Building ventilation

Building ventilation

For many years, Wide Industries has provided a good indoor climate at various schools, kindergartens, office buildings, and more. The first step to a highly efficient air intake grate is a clean and dry ventilation system. The filters function as protection.

Since the first systems were delivered in 1997, we have designed, manufactured, and delivered several hundred air intake systems.

Our customers cover a wide range, from large multinational companies to small local entrepreneurs who build our products and solutions into their projects.

We deliver everything from small intake grids at the size of A4 sheets, up to large projects where the air intake covers large parts of the wall.

Wide Industries is a proud supplier of air intake grids to the Norwegian Opera, the Norwegian Parliament, and the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate – but also to more modest buildings where we help ensure dry air intake and a healthy indoor climate.

Offshore

Over the years, Wide has received a list of references with projects for the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

We have delivered ventilation systems to the offshore market since the mid-nineties. Our air intake systems meet requirements specified in ISO15138 and Statoil's TR1562.

Since the first systems were delivered in 1997, we have designed, manufactured, and delivered several hundred air intake systems. From simple one-stage panels no larger than an A4 sheet, up to large 3-stage marine systems with capacities over 300,000 M3/h.

However, our most common deliveries are air intake for land-based HVAC buildings with single paneling, and air intake for engine rooms on ships, with one- and two-stage systems.

Our customers cover a wide range, from large multinational companies to small local entrepreneurs who build our products and solutions into their projects.

Our main market is Norway and the offshore industry in the North Sea. But the export is increasing. We export to Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, France, and the United States, among others.

Ships and the Marine

Around the world, there are a wide number of ships with Wide's air intakes. For example, York Water Taxi, coast guard ships, cruise ships, and life support boats use our solution, where a heating cable ensures open-air intake - even in arctic regions.
